Blackie

Charlotte chose to depict Blackie the Blackbird with vibrant red rowan-berries to compliment it's beautiful black plumage. Blackie is part of a series of birds from the artist's book "ABC with birds".

The motif is painted with professional pigment-rich watercolor paints using fine sable brushes. The paper used is a 100% cotton, rough grain 300 g /140 lbs acid free 100 % cotton watercolor paper.
